DaoBao Artists Setting Records During Foundation NFT Auctions
Great news for two of our featured artists as a flurry of new auctions is setting the pace in global sales for these emerging practitioners of NFT art
You may remember that DaoBao Art House featured the work of George Grigalashvili, an emerging artist in the country of Georgia. I was thrilled to learn that he has set all sorts of new records for sales of his art, and is selling at least four or five of his works per day in auctions on Foundation.
This is awesome news for him and for me, since George was one of the very first artists I featured in the DaoBao Art House newsletter. It proves to me that when artists of a unique style get attention on social media and in press, people discover that real trendsetters are hiding in the blockchain. Here is a sample of some of his current auctions:
And George is not the only auction artist that DaoBao Art House has been buying and collecting.
Ezra Igor from Indonesia, a wonderfully intuitive and spiritual artist, has two auctions currently going.
I was a recent collector of SEA, below, which I picked up for .12 ETH. DaoBao Art House Vault holds eight works by Ezra, and I highly recommend looking through his work. He’s an incessant worker, and he shares a quality I have seen in other Indonesian artists — wild eclecticism of inspirations, pulling from many different genres and histories, including glitch work, 3D AI work, and hand-painted stylus work blended with programming in J5.
Here are the two current auctions.
Mama
Noah’s Ark and Sun
And here is SEA, which I bought last night for .12 ETH, adding it to my growing collection of his work. I love the hues of this one and I love that all of Ezra’s work is done by hand and minted on his own contract. Check him out and check out the other artists featured in DaoBao’s Art House newsletter.
